Digital Presence creates a new solution for video conferencing. Digital Presence connects entire room environments, regardless of geographic boundaries to create a virtual conference space where participants appear life size and communicate real time with video, audio, data and application sharing. Digital Presence seamlessly provides video and audio coverage of the whole room by hiding cameras and
microphones, thus creating a natural conference environment in which participants are not distracted by the technology.

The system design takes the technology hurdle and distraction away from the user with a simple interface and with A/V coverage of all participants without the need to switch display views or maneuver cameras and microphones during the interaction. There is no panning or zooming. It also provides full-size, high-resolution images to enable the most effective communication, with full eye-contact and body language of all conference participants. With our one-touch control panel, initiating a call is simple.

What sets Telanetix apart from the competition is flexibility. Digital Presence can be configured for rooms that range from executive offices to large auditoriums. The solution works for applications from small conferences to distance learning and remote classrooms. A Digital Presence room can be assembled and operational in a matter of hours. There’s no need for special lighting or furniture.
Telanetix has created one of the first truly interoperable platforms for Telepresence. As video conferencing continues to become a mainstream application for businesses, our powerful solution offers all the benefits of Telepresence without requiring our customers to abandon standard H.263 and H.264 SIP enabled video and desktop conferencing systems currently being offered by providers such as Polycom, Inc. and Tandberg. The interoperable platform is offered as an option to Telanetix's popular Digital Presence System.
